SMS Text Messaging and Telephone Communications

WildFlower Play Collective may communicate with members, parents, guardians, donors, volunteers, and other individuals through telephone calls and SMS text messages, consistent with their consent and communication preferences.

Types of Communications

Customer care messages may include membership updates and renewal reminders; program schedules and event reminders; facility closures, maintenance notices, and safety alerts; registration confirmations; responses to inquiries; volunteer coordination; and community announcements.

Marketing messages may include discount codes, special deals, and promotions for our products, services, and events.

Fundraising campaigns and donation opportunities will only be sent when the recipient’s express consent includes fundraising and those messages are covered by our messaging campaign.

SMS Consent and Opt-In

By expressly opting in, you authorize WildFlower Play Collective to send the message categories described in your opt-in selection to the mobile number you provide. Our text messaging number is (503) 404-4047.

Providing a telephone number alone does not constitute consent to receive marketing or fundraising text messages.

Consent is not a condition of purchasing a membership, making a donation, or participating in WildFlower programs. Selecting “No” on our Text Updates form records your preference not to receive text messages.

Consent to SMS messages does not, by itself, authorize promotional or automated telephone calls.

Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies based on your selected messaging preferences, inquiries, membership activity, events, and organizational communications.

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier and plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt-Out and Assistance

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to a WildFlower text message.

For assistance, reply HELP or email wfplaycollective@gmail.com.

WildFlower Play Collective will honor opt-out requests and maintain records of communication preferences. Opting out of text messages does not cancel your membership or prevent you from contacting us through other available channels.

Information We Collect and Use

When you submit our Text Updates form, we collect your name, email address, mobile number, selected messaging preference, consent wording version, and submission details.

We use this information to document consent, manage communication preferences, respond to inquiries, and send messages consistent with the consent you provided.

Form submissions and communication preferences are stored in our website database. Submission notifications are also delivered to our administrative email inbox.

Authorized personnel may access these records to administer communications and honor opt-out requests. We retain records as needed for these purposes and to meet applicable legal obligations.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your SMS signup information by emailing wfplaycollective@gmail.com. We may retain information needed to document consent, ensure opted-out numbers are not contacted, or meet legal obligations.

Mobile Information Privacy

WildFlower Play Collective does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Authorized service providers supporting our website, email, and text messaging may process information as necessary to provide those services on our behalf, subject to appropriate privacy and security protections.

SMS opt-in data and consent records will not be shared with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

Telephone Calls

WildFlower Play Collective may use telephone numbers for membership administration, program coordination, requested follow-up, safety concerns, and other organizational communications where permitted.

Promotional or automated telephone calls will only be made when legally permitted and with any required consent.

Changes to This Policy and Messaging Terms

We may update this section by posting revisions on this page. Changes do not expand your existing consent to additional message categories. Where additional consent is required, we will obtain it before sending those messages.
